MODEL FAMILY CB-LIM-01

Clarity IM

Continuous local visibility for a designated isolated power system.

Clarity IM is presented as the monitoring point for a North American isolated power system. It gives the project team a defined place to review system condition, set the expected alarm behavior and coordinate how staff receive an indication.

SYSTEM ROLE

What this family is designed to do.

A line isolation monitor observes the isolated circuit and signals a possible hazard condition according to its configured alarm threshold. It works with the isolated power system as a whole and presents the system status to staff.

INSTALLATION

Locate the monitor where the intended clinical or facilities staff can see and respond to its indication. Coordinate room display, remote annunciation, test access and alarm wording before the panel schedule is finalized.

BEFORE SPECIFICATION

Resolve the project inputs early.

Bring the answers into the one-line diagram, equipment schedule and alarm plan.

  • Which isolated power panel and room does this monitor serve?
  • Where must the indication be visible during normal operation?
  • Which alarm states need repeating at a staff station or central point?
